We are incredibly fortunate to have such an outstanding team of staff here at Falcon Ridge. They really are the essence of the charm here at the ski slopes.

Our instructors no exception, they are a colourful group of characters who love what they do and are great at it. They really add to the experience on the slopes of any rider whether a first timer or a seasoned pro looking to pick up some new tips.

Bobby Young (aka Young Bobby)

1. Favourite Thing about Snowboarding/Skiing
Snowboarding just makes me so happy.

Getting to snowboard = happy day.

Riding with buddies = happy day x2

2. Favourite Dance Move

Anything with a "cha cha cha"

3. Favourite lesson to teach

If it’s not Riding with the Bobby's... it’s making that first turn of many. You get older but turning your snowboard sure doesn't.

4. Favourite Winter Activity

This season it has been building features in the terrain park, or walking across the lake to work.

5. Favourite Music

Thats a tough one, my ear is easily satisfied by a variety of genres. I like music from around the world. Its a language we all understand.

6. Favourite Animal

I like falcons quite a bit. I had a dream that a falcon was my friend and it would spend all day catching rabbits for us to eat. I think its my spirit animal.

7. Favourite Feature in the Terrain Park

I recon it’s the lizzy mate, or maybe one of those comfy green benches. Those are fun to play around with. I spend a lot of time building in the park, but my favourite features are the ones you can move around quick.

9. Favourite Book to Read

Kurt Vonnegut's Welcome to the Monkey House

10. Favourite Food Item on the FR menu.

Caramelized Walnut Pie
